TricorBraun, the world’s leading packaging company, has announced the acquisition of beverage packaging leaders Zuckerman Honickman (ZH) and Vessel Packaging (Vessel), an acquisition that will strengthen and consolidate the company’s position in the beverage packaging market.

All ZH and Vessel team members will remain with TricorBraun. Both companies will operate as separate and independent companies, and the teams will continue to work from their existing locations. The companies will be known as Zuckerman Honickman, and Vessel Packaging.

Zuckerman Honickman, this fourth-generation family-owned company provides innovative packaging for many of the world’s most iconic beverage brands. The company serves customers in all beverage verticals, including sports, craft beers, cider, craft soft drinks, wine, spirits and more.

With the acquisition of ZH, TricorBraun increases its beverage offering and significantly expands its expertise in sustainable beverages and packaging. As part of the agreement, TricorBraun also acquired Delta Industries, a ZH subsidiary and distributor of reusable trigger sprayers and bottles.

Since its founding in 2013 as a mobile canning business to serve BC craft brewers, Vessel has become a one-stop shop for aluminum cans, offering everything from design services and mobile canning, to printed cans, can lids and can holders, shrink sleeves and other labeling services. The company serves all major beverage end markets, including beer, wine, cider, kombucha, coffee, sparkling water and ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages. Vessel has a presence with five locations in Canada (Vancouver, Calgary, Mississauga, Ottawa and Montreal) and serves customers across Canada and the US.
