After a long hiatus due to COVID-19, the largest street racing circuit in Latin America, the Track&Field Run Series is back with new features. This solidarity race has just opted for water in aluminum cans for the hydration of the athletes participating in its last marathon.

In the last sporting event held on March 13, with start and finish line at the Shopping Cidade Jardim in São Paulo, Minalba Brasil, in partnership with Ball Corporation, supplied around 30,000 cans for almost 4,000 runners. The can has the advantage that this type of racing container keeps the water cooler and is easy to pick up and drink.

“It’s an opportunity for us to viralize this wave of sustainability among runners, people who care about health. And we have to promote this packaging, which is the most environmentally friendly,” says Natália Lima, Marketing Supervisor for Brazil and South America at Ball Corporation.
