Toyo Printing Inks has officially inaugurated a new production plant in the Manisa Industrial Zone, following an investment of $70 million. This facility will significantly increase the company’s manufacturing and innovation capacity.
With an area of 62,500 m², the factory features state-of-the-art automated systems, energy efficiency, and an environmentally friendly design. It is expected to double the current production capacity and allow for the local manufacture of products such as lamination adhesives, which were previously imported.
In addition, the plant will act as a key production and export center for Turkey and neighboring countries.
Officials have pointed out the importance of this investment to promote national production and generate value for both the Turkish economy and the region, and demonstrate the good commercial relationship between Turkey and Japan.
Satoru Takashima, CEO of the artience group, explained the strategic relevance of the new plant. “Our inks and adhesives are essential in the food packaging sector. Thanks to Turkey’s strategic location, we will be able to access regional markets more easily.”
