TOMRA Recycling, a global leader in sensor-based sorting solutions, has announced the appointment of Lars Enge as its new Executive Vice President (EVP).
Enge joined TOMRA in March 2022 as EVP of Group Strategy, playing a key role in the management team. Over the past three years, he has driven the creation of TOMRA Horizon, a portfolio of new initiatives that includes TOMRA Feedstock and Reuse, in addition to leading the acquisition of c-trace GmbH.
TOMRA’s CEO, Tove Andersen, highlighted Enge’s experience in the global recycling market and his ability to foster collaboration between areas: “His strategic vision, passion, and results-oriented approach make him the ideal leader to guide the growth of TOMRA Recycling.”
For his part, Enge stated that “TOMRA’s recycling division has evolved enormously since the acquisition of Titech in 2004. The global drivers to increase recycling rates offer enormous growth potential, and I am excited to transform that potential into success for TOMRA and our customers.”
Before joining TOMRA, Lars held various senior positions at Yara International in the areas of M&A, Finance, and Strategy, acting as CFO of Yara Europe between 2018 and 2022. He also worked at McKinsey & Company (2009-2014) and holds a degree in Science with a specialization in Industrial Economics and Technological Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
Lars Enge replaces Katrin Fricke, who will be leaving the company to explore new professional opportunities outside of TOMRA.
