twistMist™ aerosol wins U.S. Sustainable Packaging Innovation Award
The first twist-activated propellant-free aerosol technology, twistMistTM, was recognized as a winner in the Reuse/Fill category of the prestigious US Plastics Compact 2023 Sustainable Packaging Innovation Award earlier this month. The award was announced at the Circularity 23 conference in Seattle, Washington.
Thus, using the new twistMistTM continuous dosing technology, brands can switch to 100% recyclable plastic (HDPE, PET), metal or glass bottles instead of pressurized tin, aluminum or plastic cans. As the only aerosol that allows refills and can be used up to 10,000 times, it has a reusable spray head.
The beneficial sustainability impact of twistMistTM has been independently measured by Leeds Beckett University in the UK. The organization compared it to commercial aerosols using an ISO life cycle assessment (LCA) method.
