The Spanish Metallographic Association (AME) has held its first face-to-face meeting on the occasion of the annual General Assembly. Members who were unable to attend, had the possibility to follow the meeting online.

Sustainability, a serious and verifiable commitment to the circular economy, an industry more committed to society and its workers, and more digitized organizations and industrial processes were some of the issues addressed. The association describes this meeting as very productive because “the sector has met in Madrid to analyze a year full of new challenges and illusions”.

Finally, they add that “although the outlook is already pointing to a higher rate of growth, as vaccination progresses and market confidence is restored, the reality continues to pose significant challenges. Our industries have to adapt to a new way of understanding the world and economic activity very different, taking advantage of the transforming process imposed by the pandemic itself”.
