More and more animals are exposed to living surrounded by plastics and other materials that cause them serious years and pose a serious risk to their survival. The Russian army had to mobilize in the Arctic to save the life of a polar bear that had an aluminum can caught on her tongue and prevented her from eating.

The animal asked for help from people nearby to remove the can that was hooked on its tongue. The can had caused several deep cuts on her tongue and the bear had not eaten for several days. The alarm was raised by residents of a village in the Krasnoyarks area. They were in charge of recording and disseminating the video to attend to the bear that approached their homes and, seeing that they could not remove it, decided to contact experts.

Under the circumstances, a meeting of veterinarians was held and they flew from Moscow by helicopter to the site. There they prepared a dart with anesthesia, as the young bear walked across the Russian tundra. She was injured, thin and dehydrated, but “luckily the tongue muscle” was not damaged, according to experts. After being operated on and the object removed, the bear was released and the animal was once again able to return to its Siberian habitat where it was able to enjoy a good fish feast.
