The Region of Murcia exported packaging worth more than 90 million euros during the first three months of 2025, representing a growth of 7.7% compared to the same period of the previous year, according to data provided by the Ministry of Enterprise, Employment and Social Economy. This positions the region as the second autonomous community with the highest export volume in this sector.
In 2024, total exports from the sector reached 376 million euros, with a predominance of metal packaging, followed by plastics, paper and other materials. The main destination markets were France, the United States, Morocco, Portugal and Germany.
