This year, the Municipality of Cerrito (Colombia) proposes to decorate the Christmas tree in the square in a special and environmentally friendly way, using ornaments made from recycled aluminum cans.
To achieve this, it invites the community to collaborate with the campaign to collect empty aluminum beverage cans, such as soda, beer or alcoholic beverages. It is important that the cans are empty and not crushed.
The cans will be collected at the Municipality of Cerrito, Monday through Friday from 7 am to 1 pm. With each can that the neighbors bring, they will be contributing to the care of the environment and collaborating in the creation of a unique ornament for the community tree.
