The flavor that Coca-Cola will have in the future was created thanks to the artificial intelligence of the Stable Diffusion tool.
A few weeks ago, Coca-Cola introduced a new beverage whose creation was powered by artificial intelligence (AI). The famous brand thus joins the long list of companies in the food industry that already use the technology in research and development, as well as in advertising. The drink, called Coca-Cola Y3000, was co-created in collaboration with AI and seeks to recreate the flavors of the year 3000 no matter what they look like.
The “limited edition” can was created using artificial intelligence technology called Stable Diffusion, as part of Coca-Cola’s ‘Creations’ line. This new beverage was based on key feedback on how fans around the world imagine the future through the signature flavors of this famous soft drink.
Coca-Cola’s famous traditional cursive script, known as Spencerian Script, was designed to symbolize the world’s human interactions in the future through a series of connecting dots. The idea behind this design is that, in collaboration with artificial intelligence, it can reflect the changing and evolving state of the liquid through transformations in its shape and color.
In an interview, Oana Vlad, senior director of Global Strategy for The Coca-Cola Company, said that “The goal with Coca-Cola Creations is to bring special and magical moments to our consumers. Inspired by the timelessness that has always characterized Coca-Cola, we want to celebrate the different ways we all have of imagining the future”.
