From the automotive world, straight to your glass. Disaronno International has launched a new Italian gin, inspired by motorsports and handcrafted with 100% organic Italian ingredients.

The original proposal was born months ago from the hand of fashion and spirits entrepreneur Paolo Dalla Mora, who was inspired by his love for classic cars and motorcycles to launch this gin, in an original and unique tin container. This is the first time that a gin is packaged in this type of metal containers, as if it were oil, which has caught the attention of many.

Made in small batches in Langhe, the heart of Italy’s automotive industry, Engine Gin incorporates traditional Italian botanicals that are 100% natural, including Ligurian sage, lemon, licorice root and apricot rose, all packaged in a unique tin oil can that evokes the classic era of automobiles. Distillation is also carried out under vacuum, at very low temperatures, thanks to the use of a state-of-the-art rotary evaporator.

This idea of developing Engine was born from the union of my two great passions, the world of engines and spirits, a market in which I have worked for more than ten years, says the Italian designer and adds Molla that Engine is the first canned gin with a determined spirit.

Moreover, the formula is linked to Italian and Piedmontese tradition, paying homage to the liqueurs and cordials made from sage and lemon that in the past were ancient digestive remedies. Now it is also trying to carve out a niche in the North American market.
