Since 1910, the Andalusian company has been exporting a large part of its production to foreign markets, reaching 95% of its sales outside the country. Recently, in 2022, the company acquired an industrial complex in Seville from Oleoverde as part of its growth and international expansion plan.

In its constant growth and expansion, the IAN Group has acquired a new company called Internacional Olivarera (Interoliva), which is located in Dos Hermanas (Seville) and has specialized in the production, packaging and sale of olives for more than one hundred years. Interoliva began its commercial activity in 1910 and quickly became a leading Spanish company in the market. Today, 95% of its products are exported internationally.

Grupo IAN announced the acquisition of Interoliva as a perfect opportunity to expand its black olive production with green olives, especially the gordal and manzanilla varieties. Interoliva’s strategic location in an internationally recognized area for this product was also an important factor in the decision to acquire the company.

The acquisition of Interoliva is part of the group’s expansion strategy and will enable it to strengthen its olive business, offering a wider range of products while maintaining high quality standards. In addition, this acquisition will provide them with opportunities to grow in new developments and consolidate their presence nationally and internationally, according to Alejandro Martinez, who is the CEO of Grupo IAN.
