The Convent of Las Descalzas de Antequera offers this year its traditional offer of mantecados and Christmas sweets in a special tin, as reported by El Sol de Antequera. Las Descalzas also has a museum that celebrates its 25th anniversary and this tin is also sold as a souvenir.
The tin has an exceptional assortment of Christmas desserts typical of the area such as ‘el antequerano’, almond cakes, pastas, nevaditos, yemas, bienmesabe, cortadillos, empanadillas de cabello de ángel, roscos de huevo and assorted trays, plus: mantecado de canela, mantecado de almendra, roscos de anís y de vino and mantecado de aceite.
