The deputy mayor of Paris, Pierre Rabadan, has assured that the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be the most sustainable in history. The games that will begin next July 26 and will be held until August 11, will have no place for packaging of any kind, no cans, no bottles of Coca-Cola and any of the brands of the soft drink giant. Rabadán added that he raised this condition as non-negotiable from the outset and has ensured that “You won’t have a bottle in Paris, you’ll only have the Coca-Cola fountain, which will be served in a reusable plastic cup. And it will be like that in all the official venues of the Games.”
