The first joint venture will see easyJet flights from March 20 featuring the Sustainaholics range of spirits, which will be available on selected routes. In addition, all beverages will be served in aluminum bottles that have been recycled after their initial use.
In 2022, a new company dedicated to selling travel called Sustainaholics noticed that sustainability is a challenge for everyone and that travelers were not sufficiently exposed to inspiring brands that are leading with sustainable innovations. For this reason, they decided to collaborate with some of the UK’s leading independent spirits brands, all motivated by their passion for creating delicious premium beverages that reduce their impact on the environment.
The company Sustainaholics launched Alumini®, an aluminum bottle that received an award for innovation, in June 2023. This bottle, made from 100% recycled European aluminum, is circular and easily recyclable. Unlike other aluminum bottles made from new material, Alumini® uses post-consumer recycled aluminum, making it more environmentally friendly and a low-carbon option.
On March 20, in partnership with easyJet, a new collection of industry alcoholic beverage miniatures was introduced on its in-flight UK flights on its A321 fleet.
