It’s called ‘Blue Raspberry Vodka’, and it’s the first RTD pre-mixed in a gold can. The makers of luxury vodka Au Vodka Ltd opted for total glamour and launched this risky proposal to satisfy the most demanding palates. The British company’s award-winning Blue Raspberry vodka is blended with quality sparkling soft drinks to create a deliciously sweet 5% ABV beverage that is an exciting electric blue, and as its first RTD in a can, which demanded a matching packaging solution. Choosing a highly reflective gold color for the body, end and flange of the can, Au Vodka worked with Ardagh Metal Packaging (AMP) to create an irresistibly charismatic package with enormous visual impact.
The symbol of this element of the periodic table, gold, is based on its set of qualities that allows it to be perfect and powerful. The 330 ml slim can features simple, minimal text against the abundant gold, with the classic square “Au” periodic table, complete with its atomic number, in electric blue.
“Our experience was amazing and I hope we can continue to work together with Ardagh on future projects as we make our next moves in the exciting RTD market. We worked closely with their graphics department to create the concept, followed by a site visit to finalize the finer details.
