In May 2021, the handover of Henkel’s closure materials business began, and this November the transfer of production from Henkel in France to Actega DS in Bremen was finally completed successfully.
The main brands acquired by Henkel are Celox, Sincera and Daraform. Wilfried Lassek, Managing Director of Actega DS GmbH is enthusiastic about the agreement. “With the acquisition and production transfer, we have further expanded our business with closure materials for food and beverages, in particular by strengthening our range of PVC-free solutions. This enables us to better offer our global customers more innovative solutions with greater flexibility,” emphasizes Lassek.
With this new acquisition, sealing materials will now be produced according to the original formulation on Actega compounding machines. Precisely in order to continue manufacturing and supplying products with the highest expected quality, investments were made in additional state-of-the-art production equipment.
