Stumptown Coffee has teamed up with animation company LAIKA, to launch Coraline Cold Brew, a limited edition of Coraline-inspired cans filled with their delicious iced coffee with the nitro treatment that this company pioneered. Coraline Cold Brew cans will be available at major grocery stores nationwide while supplies last.
This particular can of cold brew is inspired by the scene in the “fantastic garden”. “fantastic garden” scene from the movie, a lush, otherworldly landscape hidden behind a small door in the old Victorian house where Coraline and her family live.
As Coraline walks through the door, she is transported to a magical, surreal world beyond her wildest dreams, or so she thinks.
“Our friends at LAIKA have very similar values and ethos to ours.
We believe in being the best in our arts, in pushing the boundaries of what we create, and we both love Portland.”
Coraline cans will also be available at select Stumptown coffee shops in Portland, Pasadena and New York, where Coraline art galleries will be on display, featuring concept art and artifacts from the film, along with exclusive Coraline-inspired, handcrafted menu items.
The Coraline Coconut Cream Cold Brew, the first Coraline-inspired beverage, features a recipe of magical proportions that combines smooth, creamy coconut cream with the nutty sweetness and decadent dark chocolate notes of Stumptown’s Original Cold Brew, topped with a sprinkling of toasted coconut flakes.
This limited-time beverage is available now at Stumptown coffee shops.
In addition, the two companies known for their brilliant approaches to design will also launch new Stumptown Coffee-Coraline products, including mugs, bags and decals, available in Stumptown coffee shops and online.
