The Strongbow cider brand, owned by Heineken, has launched a new product. It is a low-calorie fruity cider, all packaged in a slim can where the design has also been very careful.

The new cider, which is already being marketed in the United Kingdom, is aimed at customers seeking lighter, low-calorie drinks. In addition, it has 4% ABV and contains 95 calories in a 330 ml can.

The multinational Heineken describes it as Strongbow’s “biggest ever” launch for which a marketing investment of £12 million has been earmarked.

Heineken’s brand director for cider, Rachel Holms, says, “Consumers, especially generations Y and Z, want to see alcoholic beverages that fit with their desire for more balanced lifestyles.
