THE COOLIVES, THE SPANISH SNACK OF OLIVES IN TINS AWARDED AT THE ANUGA EXHIBITION IN GERMANY FOR INNOVATION
The Coolives, the new snack of the Spanish olive company Torrent has obtained wide recognition at the prestigious international fair Anuga held in Germany recently, which was also attended by another 1,300 participants.
The new product of the Cordovan company has been recognized among the 10 best international food innovations by this reference fair in the agri-food industry. The Coolives, an olive snack with different flavours, was the only Spanish product among the various award winners.
Specifically, this fair brings together 10 monographic events, including the Anuga Taste Innovation Show 2021, with innovations characterised by sustainability, health and convenience. In addition, in this edition, the jury formed by a large panel of specialized experts and market research analysts, has selected from among the 1,332 ideas submitted, 67 products and outstanding concepts in terms of ideas, innovation, sustainability and creative execution.
The range of olives with a Spanish seal is made up of olives flavoured with eight different flavours, some as novel as curry or black truffle. This new brand is also presented in an attractive, functional and sustainable packaging, ready to consume, healthy and respectful with the planet.
The family-run company has established itself as one of the world’s leading producers and exporters of olives. Aceitunas Torrent is strategically located in one of the most important olive production areas in Spain, the southern countryside of Cordoba, from where it sells its products to the five continents.
