Drinking quality wine anywhere is possible, thanks to the canned wine trend, and there are several brands that have joined this proposal with the aim of reaching a young audience or for those who hate to give up drinking a good wine in any context and place.

The brands that have launched the production of canned wine are: Born Rosé, Zeena, Vallformosa, the well-known Peñascal and Aluvinum with Glass canned wines.

Born Rosé, as its name suggests, focuses on rosés and offers a blend of garnacha and tempranillo that is fresh, elegant, aromatic and very versatile, inspired by the city of Barcelona and the Mediterranean spirit. It also has a sparkling version .

Zeena was one of the pioneers in betting on canned wine. It is the only Spanish brand recognized in the International Canned Wine Competition, the most important canned wine competition in the world, held in California. Its first wines were white, red and rosé, made in Terra Alta with organically grown grapes. Now there is also a sparkling and non-alcoholic sparkling version. In addition, the cans are made of 100% recycled and recyclable aluminum, and are protected by an internal film that keeps the aroma and flavor of the wine unaltered.

I’mperfect from Vallformosa is committed to a range of ecological, vegan and organic wines with a brut cava, a rosé cava and a non-alcoholic sparkling wine. Peñascal offers two versions of its rosé, but with bubbles, low-alcohol, non-alcoholic and the usual.

Glass Canned Wines of Aluvinum makes a trompe l’oeil and offers us a beautiful can with the design of a beautiful glass. A can perhaps to preserve. These wines are born in Sant Sadurní, created by the winemaker Joan Anton Romero. They have a Penedés flavor and in these cans we find the local varieties: chardonnay, xarel-lo and muscat, which are translated into a rosé of merlot and tempranillo, a red of cabernet, merlot and tempranillo, and two sparkling wines, one white and one rosé. There is also a non-alcoholic option, a vermouth and three types of sangria.
