Discover Softline Extreme: Roberts Metal Packaging’s revolutionary range to be showcased at PCD Paris 2024

During Paris Packaging Week 2024, Roberts Metal Packaging will be showcasing its new Softline Extreme line along with recent award-winning designs at its booth E122. This will be the first time this range has been shown since its relaunch.

Longtime partner Ashfield Extrusion also joins the team to highlight its extruded aluminum jars and pots. During Paris Packaging Week 2024, the PCD (Packaging of Perfume Cosmetics and Design) exhibition was held, considered the largest of its kind and focused on showcasing the latest trends and innovations in the packaging of perfumery, cosmetics and personal care products.

PCD is a gathering of European professionals working in the development, design and supply of packaging for the beauty industry. This convention has a major impact on future trends and developments in the world of beauty packaging.

While at the booth, Roberts Metal Packaging CEO Chris Saunders expressed his enthusiasm for introducing the aluminum bottle created for Benefit Cosmetics. This packaging recently received an award at the UK Packaging Award 2023 for its innovative and sustainable design that brings a luxurious appearance to the cosmetic product.

In 2023, Roberts Metal Packaging, Europe’s leading manufacturer of pre-threaded screw caps, godets and containers made of aluminum and tinplate, relaunched its Softline Extreme line.

The Softline Extreme container has a bolt-on cover and a flat, angled bottom, and is available in both wide and shallow depth variants. For example, Softline Extreme Deep offers ideal sizes for packaging beauty items such as hair products or body creams, while Softline Extreme Shallow is perfect for storing hand and facial creams, as well as natural products for cleaning furniture.

Saunders said they are excited to meet their current and potential customers at PCD 2024. Through their wide range of aluminum jars, as well as their collaborations with trusted partners such as Ashfield Extrusion and their expertise in decorative techniques, they can help brands, retailers and designers create creative packaging for their products.
