SMASHED APPLE IS OFFICIALLY THE BEST CANNED CIDER IN THE WORLD.
Smashed Apple Cider is officially the best AF cider in the world according to the World Cider Awards. It joins the World’s Only range of AF beers, ciders and lagers. Its creator, Drynks Unlimited is an independent British craft drinks company that focuses 100% on producing 0% drinks. It has a portfolio of non-alcoholic brands that offer a natural, authentic and locally sourced taste that allows consumers to forget they are not drinking alcohol.
Richard Clark founder of MD Drynks Unlimited has expressed his delight at the recent award. “Our unique Smashed Apple cider starts life as a fully alcoholic craft cider made by Herefordshire craft cider producer Celtic Marches Beverages Ltd. We then gently remove the alcohol and are left with a non-alcoholic cider with all the flavour but less calories and sugar than other AF ciders,” adds the founder of MD Drynks Unlimited.
“I’m very proud of the team that produced the world’s only range of non-alcoholic beers and ciders and now every one of our drinks is award-winning.” He also points out that “we are the only drinks company in the UK to have invested in state-of-the-art cold vacuum distillation equipment that gently de-alcoholises high alcoholic drinks. This produces delicious non-alcoholic drinks that taste just as good as a premium alcoholic version,” he says.
Clark reiterates that “Drynks Unlimited is an incredibly exciting and ambitious business that has positioned itself as a leader in the non-alcoholic category with its innovative de-alcoholization process”.
The Manchester-based independent drinks business launched its Smashed range of 0% beers and ciders in 2019. Founder Richard Clark created a new range of premium brands for a growing number of consumers looking for a quality alternative to alcoholic beverages under the slogan “Rethinking Drink”. Its first non-alcoholic brand, Smashed, has five products in its portfolio: Smashed Lager, Smashed Cider, Smashed Citrus, Smashed Berry and Smashed Pale Ale, all of which are available in bottles and cans for retail.
