The packagin is becoming more and more important. Café Santa Monica has just launched Cascara Edición Especial de Ruama, its first tea made with cherry coffee husks. The product is packaged in a rectangular steel can with a retro design in art deco style, with traditional images of São Paulo, such as the Sé Cathedral, the MASP, the Municipal Theater and the Estaiada Bridge.
Precisely, it is an innovative product with a very careful packaging in which not even the smallest detail has been left to chance. Coffee ‘husk tea’ is already highly appreciated abroad for its striking fruity flavor with a hint of sweetness.
Ruama Djardjarian, Marketing Director of Café Santa Monica confirms that “with this launching we want to demonstrate that tea with coffee husk is an option to please not only those who like coffee, but also people who prefer tea. With a different flavor to the traditional beverage, the tea is lighter and, in spite of having caffeine, it provides a pleasant sensation of wellbeing”.
The first tests are being conducted in France and Belgium, followed by Great Britain and other markets in Europe throughout 2022.
