SACMI will showcase at Drink Japan 2025 (December 3–5, Makuhari Messe, Tokyo) a fully integrated and digitized production line for caps and preforms, designed to increase productivity and optimize process control. The company will also present its advanced diagnostic systems, new solutions based on artificial intelligence, and the consulting and development services of the Rigid Packaging Lab.

The new proposal combines CCM64MD compression presses for caps and IPS400D injection presses for preforms, connected by a digital architecture that integrates hardware, software, cloud services, and AI vision systems. This approach enables more precise process management, as well as predictive maintenance and continuous production optimization.

Among the main innovations is SMARTPACK™, a control kit that allows real-time adjustments and monitors key parameters such as pellet insertion, hydraulic oil quality, and the efficiency of the mold cooling system. The data is centralized in a Control Room to facilitate monitoring and anticipate deviations or errors. Alongside this system, SMARTCARE™ offers cloud-based monitoring and predictive diagnostics through data exchange with SACMI’s technical service.

The company will also strengthen its product development offering through the Rigid Packaging Lab, which provides comprehensive design solutions for caps and preforms, including a wide range of 26/22 mm configurations—both tethered and non-tethered—aimed at reducing plastic consumption and improving the consumer experience. The laboratory also promotes circularity initiatives such as PURECAP™, a project that seeks to establish a complete chain for manufacturing recycled HDPE caps, with recipes and production guidelines that guarantee aesthetic and functional standards.

In the field of quality control, SACMI will exhibit its latest artificial vision systems, including PVS Robot, an automatic solution for off-line inspection of preforms. All technologies can be integrated with the Classy AI interface, which automatically classifies defects, simplifies staff training, and allows access to real-time data.

SACMI also emphasizes its commitment to customer support thanks to ready-to-operate solutions and a global technical service available 24/7.

The company will welcome visitors to Drink Japan 2025, from December 3 to 5, at booth 3-16 in hall 9 of Makuhari Messe (Tokyo).
