On May 23rd, the city of Rosario experienced an unprecedented day for beer lovers at the so-called Rosario Can Festival, the city’s first beer festival dedicated exclusively to canned beer. It was held at La Fábrica (Catamarca 2941) with an offering that combines drinks, music, and gastronomy in an original format.

Organized by Servicios Cerveceros, the event highlighted the growing prominence of canned beer, a rising trend in both local and international markets. The festival featured more than 50 labels of canned beers, produced by more than ten Rosario breweries including Fenicia, Ánfora, Faucaria, Volk, Keinkater, Kalber, Hillbilly’s, Nómada, Gregoria, Dimenna, Palo & Hueso, and Medieval.

The event’s name, Rosario Can, plays with the double meaning of the English word “can” (lata) and the affirmation that Rosario can —a declaration of local pride and a commitment to the growth of the independent beer ecosystem.
