Roeslein is proud to announce that its systems engineering team placed first in Inductive Automation’s Build-a-Thon 2022.
This year, Inductive Automation organized a Build-a-Thon competition over several months, in which teams completed a series of challenges by building Ignition projects and testing their technical prowess. The top two integrators competed in person at the Ignition 2022 Community Conference held at Inductive Automation headquarters. We are proud to announce that Roeslein won a very close competition, proving that Roeslein’s Ignition integration is top notch.
“Building a complete Ignition project from scratch in 16 hours over two days was a fun and complex challenge.” said systems engineer Phillip Bourner. “We were perfectly poised for success as each team member used their strengths to finish the different sections of the project (Mitchell Leefers on visualization, Scott Cushman on database functionality and myself on process control). We also had other Roeslein ICC attendees who worked with the audience on our behalf. Our opponents put up a good fight, but in the end, we came out on top by 3 votes.”
Roeslein & Associates is proud to have been named one of Inductive Automation’s best-selling ignition integrators. The company’s systems engineering group is one of the first Tier 1 integrators that is not solely a data management company. Roeslein integrates Ignition’s SCADA into the company’s conveyor and line control systems, allowing plant managers to see productivity and problem areas at a high level. In this way, managers can determine where changes can be implemented to improve and increase revenues.
