Refresco, one of the world’s largest bottlers for retailers and A-brands in Europe and North America, has acquired three Coca-Cola facilities in the United States (in Missouri, Texas and Michigan). This agreement with The Coca-Cola Company was recently announced and is part of its growth strategy focused on expanding and further strengthening its manufacturing footprint in Europe and North America to service both retailers and well-known brands. This transaction is still subject to regulatory approval.

Brad Goist, COO of Refresco North America, said, “Adding three hot-fill production sites to our footprint is a great opportunity to further enhance our offering. I am confident that our retail and Brand A customers in North America will be able to benefit from our expanded capabilities and broader geographic presence.

The transaction involves long-term arrangements for contract manufacturing activities. Refresco will become one of Coca-Cola’s strategic third-party contract manufacturers in the United States.
