Through a collaborative process, four artists from Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Paraguay were invited to create a unique design based on a woman who inspires them. A tribute aimed at highlighting the strength, love, courage, affection and respect of four women close to them. Women who inspire.

To leave printed on an aluminum can the feelings and emotions that four artists have towards four women close to them. That was the invitation that QUIEROLATA, the movement promoted by Ball Corporation that encourages the use of aluminum cans for a more conscious consumption, made to Carolina Celis from Chile, Anabella Santangelo from Argentina, Camile Soares from Brazil and Karina Oliveira from Paraguay.

Mujeres Que Inspiran (Women Who Inspire) was the name of this project framed within the framework of Women’s Month to use the aluminum can, a 100% and infinitely recyclable container, to represent this important feminine inspiration, something that is often difficult to express in words, but that makes her work transcend borders and illuminates the soul of every woman. All in all, a great opportunity to capture art in a completely different way.

The result is four unique, colorful designs that reflect the high level of affection and emotion that each of these women have for the artists involved. In the case of Caro Celis, she chose her niece Emilia, manifesting in her art all the vitality and energy that nature and colors give her. In the case of Argentina, Anabella was inspired by her mother, Adriana, with a special focus on her face to show the strength in it.

“In this type of action we all come together to create a collective awareness of the importance of respect and a fair and quality society for all. I chose my niece because, despite her young age, I admire her strength. She is a person with her own voice, she always says what she thinks and stands up for what she believes in. She is a cheerful, intelligent, creative and dreamy child. We have a lot to learn from future generations, about the way they relate to the world and how they see the perspective of life”, emphasizes Caro Celis.

From Brazil, Camile’s inspiration came from her grandmother Olga. This artist from Pará rediscovered among the cocoa trees the roots of her ancestry and thus reconnected with her history. Something that is evident in its final design. And finally, Kiki from Paraguay, chose her mother-in-law Mirta, graphing in a creative, daily and funny way her connection with her.

All of these canned designs, and the story of their construction and inspiration, can be seen on QUIEROLATA ‘s Instagram (in Spanish) and VADELATA (in Portuguese).
