PPG unveiled its most recent advances in coating technologies during an exclusive event for analysts, held at its Global Coatings Innovation Center in Allison Park, Pennsylvania. This presentation focused on innovative and sustainable solutions designed to increase productivity, aligned with the company’s objectives of helping its customers reduce costs, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate PPG’s organic growth.
Among the new features highlighted at the event were:
- Precision Application: an award-winning system for OEM automotive coatings that prevents overspray, reducing energy consumption and application time.
- PPG Coraseal and PPG Corashield 4-Wet Advantage: coatings that minimize energy consumption and emissions, compatible with both water-based and solvent-based systems.
- Low-Temperature Expanded Bake Electrocoat: technology that reduces costs for the customer and improves operational efficiency.
- PPG Steelguard 951: a durable and flexible coating for fire protection on steel structures, designed to optimize user productivity.
- PPG Nutrishield Max: coatings for metal packaging that offer various BPA-free internal solutions, providing greater protection for foods with acidic, salty, or aggressive characteristics, in addition to optimizing manufacturing efficiency.
- Architectural Coatings Products: include an advanced water-based portfolio, which has consolidated a strong position as a leading brand in more than 15 countries, supported by its sustainable recognition.
