PPG Packaging Coatings has announced Rodolfo Ramirez as its new global vice president of its packaging coatings division. This decision has been taken with the objective of strengthening and leading its presence in the international market of coatings for packaging. Ramirez has extensive industry experience and is expected to bring a new strategic vision for the company’s growth.


Ramirez began his career at PPG in 2003 working in the automotive OEM division as technical service manager in Mexico. After that, he climbed up the ranks in both Mexico and Brazil.


In 2015, he joined PPG in the industrial coatings area, where he was in charge of strategic segments and sales in North America and Mexico, as well as responsible for global accounts and business development. Last year, he joined PPG Packaging Coatings as general manager.
