Bixolon Europe has announced its collaboration with the Polish digital services company iMedia Sp. z o.o. and the systems integration partner Hant to deploy GreenBottle, a new generation of smart recycling machines, throughout the country.
The GreenBottle reverse vending machines (RVMs), developed by iMedia, allow users to deposit cans and PET bottles in exchange for immediate digital rewards. This initiative is part of Poland’s efforts to increase recycling rates and strengthen the circular economy, aligning with the national recycling program that will take effect in October 2025.
