Corsican brasserie Pietra has created a new beer for this summer 2024. It is a Session IPA, i.e. a lighter beer than an IPA (India Pale Ale) or an APA (American Pale Ale) as it has an alcohol content of 4.5°, as reported by the association La boîte boisson.
Session IPAs are usually brewed mainly for the summer season, so they have a refreshing character. It has been brewed with barley malt and Sabro hops: a variety of aromatic hops originating in the United States. It brings fruity, citrus aromas, especially mandarin, coconut, tropical and stone fruits, all enhanced by notes of cedar and mint.
Pietra has chosen this special 44 cl can for this sunny day beer.
