Peter Strode was appointed Commercial Director, International Accounts. This appointment was made effective February 3, 2023, a position he will combine with his current responsibilities as CEO of Intercan Group.
Peter founded Intercan in 1986, which specializes in the design, manufacture and upgrades of beverage can decorating equipment. He is a well-known figure in the industry and has a deep understanding of the beverage can business.
Intercan joined SLAC in 2017 and serves as a base to support sales and installation of SLAC beverage can and end equipment in Europe, in addition to its ongoing printing equipment activity. Rainer Berkefeld, Director Sales & Business Development EMEA, will report to Peter Strode on International Accounts. This new appointment follows the resignation of Chris McKenzie who is leaving SLAC to focus on new professional challenges.
