Peter Reay, co-founder and CEO of i2r Packaging Solutions, will step down after 17 years at the helm of the company. Since its founding in 2007, he has been instrumental in making i2r a global leader in lightweight, high-performance aluminum packaging. During his tenure, the company has stood out for its sustainable innovations and international expansion, winning several Queen’s Awards for Enterprise.
Reay has also driven strategic growth and investments in automation and efficiency. To recognize his legacy, i2r has established a training room in his honor. Jon West, co-founder of the company, highlighted Reay’s vision and commitment as pillars of its success. i2r is Europe’s largest producer of aluminum packaging, with an annual output of more than 1.2 billion products.
