Pepsi has just announced its first foray into the innovative world of NFTs. The Pepsi Mic Drop genesis NFT collection has been designed by VaynerNFT, a consultancy under the umbrella of the VaynerX holding. It has also been randomly created by an algorithm so that each NFT is totally unique and different. It also pays homage to the brand’s history in music and Pepsi’s suite of flavors that have captivated thousands of consumers for decades.
On December 14, U.S. consumers who have been approved on the waiting list will be able to mint one of 1,843 Pepsi Mic Drop NFTs. Once the consumer is verified, the token will be minted and sent directly to their wallet, at which point consumers will be able to identify their exact Pepsi Mic Drop NFT and will be able to list it on OpenSea or any other platform.
