During January 17 and 18, the city of Paris will have its own packaging week. Paris Expo Porte de Versailles will host more than 650 exhibitors who will showcase their excellence in packaging products and seek to be an innovative platform for leaders in the luxury and beauty sector worldwide.

It is clear that the success of the ADF, PCD, PLD and Packaging Première Paris events remains high as exhibitor space is the main target for another successful year.

The showcase that is presented offers great possibilities in the field of supplying items such as beverages, selected products, beauty care and other consumer items. This will be reinforced by the entertaining scaffolding provided by relevant speakers, specialized innovation galleries and various networking activities. More details will be provided at a later date.

Paris Packaging Week brings together four events, each designed to drive packaging business and innovation in a specific market.
PCD deals with flavoring, beauty and presentation related items; ADF serves for carbonated blends and delivery systems, organized together with the FEA (European aerosol federation); PLD concentrates on the premium beverage category, such as wine and spirits; while Packaging Premiére deals with luxury items such as watches, jewelry, fashion, desserts and luxury foods.

In addition, this 4-day meeting has become very popular in recent years. This year’s event was especially memorable as it attracted around 9,000 people representing more than 2,500 companies and external design agencies from all continents.

The success of this fair has established itself as an important event in the packaging industry calendar and was awarded by the OEA and Exhibition News with two recognized awards. The first, the Award of Excellence for Best International Trade Fair – Europe and the second for Best International Trade Fair.

Next year, Josh Brooks of Easyfairs expects the Paris Packaging Week event to be even better than the past. “Paris Packaging Week has built a position at the heart of packaging innovation for beauty, beverage, luxury and aerosol-based products. With more exhibitors than ever on the show floor next year, Paris is the ideal place for brands, designers and packaging producers looking to stay on the cutting edge of all trends.” added the person in charge.
This time, the Paris show will include the presence of different presenters who will be taking part for the first time. Among them were Mondi, which is an expert in stationery and packaging; Addison, an emerging brand; and ThyssenKrupp, a German leader in engineering.
