The wait is over: After four years, the Packaging Steel application of thyssenkrupp Rasselstein GmbH, Germany’s only tinplate manufacturer, has been completely renewed. From now on, the application has a new user interface that is particularly easy to use. The new design is avant-garde and responds to the changes that have taken place in recent years.
Development based on user behaviour change
“User habits have changed since the launch of the Packaging Steel App. Quick and specific information and news about our tinplate product is becoming more and more important. That’s why our news section is now at the top and will keep the packaging industry up to date on current topics in the world of tinplate and thyssenkrupp Rasselstein,” says Carmen Tschage, Head of Communication and Market Development at thyssenkrupp Rasselstein GmbH.
From now on, articles about the product steel for packaging and its sustainability can be accessed more directly. From now on, all contact persons in the sales department and technical customer service can be reached more easily. “We are already working on further digital functions for the Packaging Steel app. Our customers will receive the access data for these in the course of the year,” says Tschage. “Our customers have something to look forward to.”
Years of success in the app stores
The Packaging Steel App provides users with an overview of all packaging steel grades available from thyssenkrupp Rasselstein, and their respective specifications. Users can find information on all potential uses of the material and get an overview of the available coating options. On request, push notifications keep users up to date with news about rasselstein® container steel.
The 4.1.0 update of the Packaging Steel app can be downloaded for Android and iOS in the app stores. The application is free and available in English and German.
