Envases, the Museum of Industry and the Løsning School have joined forces to create a very special experience for youngsters to become familiar with the world of cans. They learned about everything from the relationship between robotics and ipads and metal packaging to more organic aspects, such as how meat gets into a can. The participants were 5th and 6th grade students from Løsning School and visited the Packaging plant in Løsning. The company has partnered with the Museum of Industry in Horsens to make corporate visits more entertaining for children.
The students worked directly on programming robots, identifying different metals and taking measurements in a technical design. In addition, they toured the entire production.
This activity has been developed as part of the Produktionens Danmark project, which aims to strengthen the narrative about Danish industrial society.
