Orbis wins Plant of the Year 2022 award for its Silao plant in Mexico
The ORBIS plant in Silao has been named Plant of the Year 2021 for its exceptional performance in the manufacturing and distribution of packaging and logistics solutions. The plant was selected for its commitment to sustainability and innovation in the design and production of high quality products that meet customer needs.
ORBIS is recognized worldwide for its leadership in manufacturing reusable and durable plastic packaging solutions for a wide variety of industries. The Silao plant is one of ORBIS’ main manufacturing facilities in Latin America, and its success is due in large part to its focus on continuous improvement and investment in advanced technology.
Plant of the Year is an annual award given by Packaging Revolution, a leading publication in the packaging and logistics industry, which recognizes companies and manufacturing plants that demonstrate excellence in innovation, sustainability and product quality. Selection is based on a number of criteria, including production quality, operational efficiency, sustainability leadership and the company’s ability to meet the needs of its customers. ORBIS has joined the long-standing and traditional manufacturer Menasha Corporation in the United States. In addition, Orbis employs more than 2,500 people and has 55 locations in North America and Europe. They also strive for a better future for the generations to come.
