ORBIS INTRODUCES THE NEW ODYSSEY® LOW-PROFILE PALLET FOR
RATIONALIZE AUTOMATED WAREHOUSES AND INTEGRATE WITH EXISTING PALLET POOLS
New pallet offers unmatched stability, durability and sustainability benefits
OCONOMOWOC, Wisconsin, December 20, 2022 – ORBIS® Corporation, an international leader in reusable packaging, has added the new Odyssey® Low Profile (LP) 40×48 pallet to its range of reusable plastic pallets. This robust, uniformly dimensioned pallet is designed for repeatable performance with automated equipment. With the same stability and unique features of the original 40×48 Odyssey pallet, the new 5.6-inch high low-profile pallet aims to provide the added benefit of integrating seamlessly with alternative pallets in existing pallet parks.
The Odyssey LP pallet is a robust solution that enhances load stability with steel reinforcements and molded friction elements that minimize load shifting, product load damage and pallet slippage off the material handling equipment. Designed to support loads in excess of 2,800 pounds, this pallet is also equipped with convenient hand grips for easy manual handling.

Built with ORBIS’ dedication to sustainability in mind, the Odyssey LP pallet replaces wooden pallets in the supply chain to reduce environmental waste while providing a durable and reliable solution for transporting and storing products. This pallet offers smooth plastic surfaces, free of nails and splinters, which protect product loads and minimize equipment downtime due to warehouse debris. The hygienic pallet design is easy to clean. This pallet is designed for a wide variety of applications, from general food and dry goods processing to agriculture, raw materials and finished goods.
The 40×48 Odyssey LP pallet can also be fully recycled at the end of its useful life through the Recycle with ORBIS program, which offers credit on recycled products for future packaging purchases.
