As part of its successful growth policy, Orbis Corporation also strives to make a positive difference in the communities in which it operates by supporting organizations, agencies and projects that benefit people in various ways, in addition to its employees who also show their most caring and altruistic side for the community.
This involvement in community service initiatives dates back to the parent company, Menasha Corporation, when it was first established as a bucket manufacturing company. The Menasha Corporation was founded by Elisha D. Smith in 1849. Today, the Menasha Corporation Foundation continues the tradition of Elisha Smith’s giving. Menasha’s corporate philanthropy plan led to the establishment of the Menasha Corporation Foundation, which donates funds each year to each company location for use in their local community.
Throughout the year, employees at each location hold numerous fundraising events, volunteer drives and financial donations to more than 100 organizations around the world, including Special Olympics, Make-A-Wish and Habitat for Humanity.
