A speech about the benefits of this appetizer triggered the online sale of Bonilla potato chips. This was confirmed by the company, which has been making history since 1932: in only  The 4,000 units available in their warehouses were sold out within four hours.

This whirlwind of sales by Oprah’s community of followers led them to buy them for 27.5 dollars per 275-gram can. Their price would be lowered for the occasion, since in the US they are usually sold for 55 dollars.
