NVIDIA and Deutsche Telekom have announced a strategic alliance to create Germany’s first industrial artificial intelligence (AI) cloud, aiming to boost the country’s technological sovereignty and accelerate AI adoption in European industry. This infrastructure will enable the development of advanced applications such as simulations, digital twins, engineering, and robotics.

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang and Deutsche Telekom CEO Timotheus Höttges emphasized the urgency of advancing AI to ensure Europe’s technological leadership. This “AI factory” will benefit companies of all sizes, research centers, and universities, and is part of a broader vision that includes a future EU-backed AI gigafactory planned for 2027.

Additionally, NVIDIA will contribute to AI training through its Deep Learning Institute, strengthening the German innovation ecosystem and facilitating access to advanced computational resources.
