Nowadays (Los Angeles) announced an expansion of its portfolio, introducing its new product line: Nowadays THC Canned Cocktails. Launching a low-dose variety with 5 mg of THC in each can, the new innovation puts an elevated spin on the ready-to-drink (RTD) beverage category with a versatile option, handcrafted from the brand’s cannabis-infused liquor, balanced with carbonated water and natural fruit flavors, according to the company.

Debuting in four flavors – Original, Spicy Lime, Citrus and Berry – these canned cocktails are available in an assortment pack. Like their bottled predecessor, Nowadays’ canned cocktails offer a light and stimulating experience within 15 minutes after consumption and provide an alternative to alcohol, without the negative effects, according to the company.

“Expanding into canned cocktails was a natural next step for us,” Justin Tidwell, CEO and co-founder of Nowadays, said in a statement. “Our bottled spirits have been incredibly successful, and we wanted to build on that by taking everything consumers love about Nowadays and creating a canned version for an elevated ready-to-drink experience. With this innovation, we can reach even more people and continue to grow the brand.”

Formulated with premium natural ingredients and a perfect balance of hemp-derived THC, Nowadays canned cocktails contain 25 calories or less in each 12-ounce can.

The full range of products will be available beginning September 2. Priced at $31.95 per six-pack of cans. Nowadays’ canned THC cocktails can be shipped to more than 40 states and found on select liquor store and grocery store shelves nationwide in the coming months. Following the initial launch of its canned cocktails, the brand will introduce a stronger variety later this year, with a 16-ounce option with 10 mg of THC in each can.

This launch marks Nowadays’ first foray outside of its flagship product, cannabis-infused liquor, and comes less than a year and a half after the brand went to market in April 2023.

With the introduction of THC Canned Cocktails, Nowadays continues to lead the cannabis beverage industry, according to the company. This latest innovation reinforces the brand’s mission to bring a new twist to the way people drink and strengthens its commitment to meeting the diverse needs of consumers as the cannabis industry continues to evolve, the company notes.
