The World Economic Forum has recognized a Novelis milestone after the plant produced 97% recycled content for its 3105 alloy, used primarily in specialty products for the Building and Construction market. This recognition highlights the industry’s continued efforts to innovate towards more sustainable and circular manufacturing solutions.

Novelis is a leading producer of rolled aluminum products and recycler of aluminum, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. It is the world’s largest aluminum recycler and supplies sustainable aluminum solutions to a variety of industries, including automotive, beverage packaging, aerospace and consumer electronics.

Founded in 2005 as a spin-off from Alcan, Novelis was acquired in 2007 by Hindalco Industries Limited, one of Asia’s leading aluminum and copper producers and a flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group.

The company operates in 11 countries and is organized into four regions: North America, Europe, Asia and South America. Its main regional centers are located in Atlanta, Zurich, Seoul and São Paulo.
