AMB Sports and Entertainment (AMBSE) and official recycling partner Novelis have joined forces to build their third home with Habitat for Humanity in Atlanta’s historic Westside community. Funds for construction have been accumulated through the Recycle for Good program.

“We are thrilled to build a third home on the Westside in partnership with Novelis,” notes Mace Aluia, vice president of corporate partnerships for AMB Sports and Entertainment. “The vision of the Recycle for Good program has been to inspire recycling and have a direct impact on our community by helping a local working family achieve the dream of homeownership.”

“Novelis wants to leverage the influential power of sports to inspire lifelong recyclers among sports fans and generate additional value for our communities by keeping infinitely recyclable aluminum out of landfills,” he adds.

Since the partnership began, AMBSE and Novelis have built two homes, one in 2017 and the second in 2019. Construction of the third home begins on April 21, 2022 and will be completed by June 16, 2022. For every three million bottles and cans collected and recycled, a house is built on the Westside. To date, more than nine million aluminum bottles and cans have been collected and recycled.
