Novelis, a global leader in aluminum and metal recycling, has appointed Emilio Braghi, President of the company in Europe, as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Braghi will assume the position immediately and report directly to CEO, Steve Fisher.
In his role as COO, Braghi will be responsible for optimizing global operations, improving safety, quality and efficiency, and strengthening performance standards across all of the company’s plants. He will also maintain his position as President of Novelis Europe, based in Küsnacht, Switzerland.
With more than 25 years of experience at Novelis, Braghi has held key positions in Europe, North America and Asia, leading commercial and operational functions before assuming the European presidency in 2016. His international experience and deep understanding of the industry place him in a strategic position to consolidate Novelis’ operational excellence and leadership in the aluminum sector.
Fisher highlighted that Braghi’s experience will allow the company to strengthen the efficiency of its operations and continue to drive innovation in the recycled and sustainable aluminum industry.
