Altachem’s CEO, Jean-Marie Poppe, was elected as the new president of the trade association, DETIC. This Belgian and Luxembourg association represents 115 members, including distributors and producers of cosmetics, cleaning and maintenance products, adhesives, sealants, biocides and aerosols.

According to the association, Jean-Marie’s presidency will focus on the objective of broadening the depth of experience to further enrich and develop the benefits for all members.

According to Poppe, “Past President Coralie Boulez has laid a positive foundation that will allow us to build effectively for the future. We will look to other successful trade associations to see how we can learn from their successes and implement new approaches to ensure maximum service and resources for all DETIC members.”

Jean-Marie will work closely with the existing team at DETIC, which has steadily developed expertise that helps bridge the gaps between government, knowledge centers, international federations and members. Consult with the team further on ways to collectively develop existing knowledge.

For his part, Kashif Choudhry, Group Marketing Manager, added that “Jean-Marie is one of many LINDAL employees who take a leadership role in industry bodies and trade associations. We appreciate the benefits that each of these organizations has on the industry and are confident that Jean-Marie will have a successful tenure.”
