The MPMA, Metal Packaging Manufacturers Association, has launched a new edition of CANtastic, which includes a colorful and eye-catching new logo. This has been unveiled in the run-up to UK Metals Expo 2024, to be held in Birmingham, September 11-12.
The campaign demonstrates the fundamental benefits of metal packaging as a permanently available material, as well as its decorative and durable properties.
The logo will be used in a multimedia campaign including social media, print materials and on the MPMA stand (M50) at the UK Metals Expo,
“The campaign is designed to emphasize the compelling statistics about steel and aluminum packaging, highlighting positive aspects of the sector such as our high recycling rates, the metal’s permanently available status and consumer appreciation for cans,” commented Jason Galley, MPMA director and CEO.
“CANtastic allows us to showcase the sector’s important role in the circular economy, as well as the latest product innovations.”
Cantastic is a platform promoted by the MPMA (Metal Packaging Manufacturers Association) that focuses on sustainability and recycling in the metal packaging industry. Its main objective is to encourage environmental responsibility through the promotion of recyclable metal packaging and education about its positive impact on the environment.
Some key aspects of Cantastic are recycling promotion, education and awareness, industry collaboration and recycling initiatives.
Cantastic seeks not only to improve the efficiency of metal packaging recycling, but also to increase public and industry participation in sustainable practices. In doing so, it contributes to reducing the environmental impact of packaging and promoting a circular economy.
